Since I have been following the LCHF lifestyle, I have noticed a number of differences:
- No issues with my sinuses: they used to kill me every spring and fall. The headaches would drive me to drugs (over the counter) just to get trough the day.
- No joint issues: my knee used to bother me whenever the weather changed. A low/high pressure system would make my knee ache.
- Back pain has been reduced: this may be due to the weight loss.
According to the Body Mass Index, I should weight at most 155lbs. That will be a miracle. When I was a gymnast, I weighed 165lbs and they could not measure my body fat (I was cold all the time). so I think that 170lbs would be a realistic goal for me.
Due to personal issues, I purposely stopped the LCHF diet. I am now up to 193lbs. Now it is time to get back to where I want to be. I will be tracking weight, circumferences of shoulders, chest, waist, biceps, and thighs on a weekly basis. Plus I will blog anything I think is pertinent or of interest to me.
I am starting a fat fast today. I started the day with a breve latte. I use cream when I am at home, but as I am on the road until Friday, I'll settle for the half and half at
Espressions. Bought a case of water as it will be my main drink forever.
So lets get started.
